Well if you're going in the shade then yeah. You can go with a lot of LPS! But for a true shaded coral how about a blastomussa. Bright red and love the shade.
Blastos of course! Any favorites of yours?

This one :face-with-tears-of-joy: . I need to move it into the shade. I keep forgetting. Apparently they actually grow better shaded.

LPS in a high PAR tank like mine don’t all seem to do well - my hammer doesn’t appear to mind it but I do keep an eye on him.
I have the issue of one high PAR tank and a second lower PAR tank but with ‘RSWC’ fish in there. So I can’t really have corals that are fleshy incase they dislike it in my nano and need to be moved just to be potentially nipped at.

I do also dream to have an Indo Gold Torch in this tank however the issue is room.

Why don’t you just get some torches? I know you like them but haven’t seen you keep one. I’m sure it can help you being more patient while you get your Indo Gold.
I do actually have a torch I just don’t really talk about it as it went from a 10-15 head colony to a one head colony in 2 days because of flattys. I also had a Joker Torch that just melted for no reason.
You can just see the left side of my original torch in this photo.

I had it a good 3-4 weeks, possibly 5-6 weeks. It was a while ago when I had it though.

I think it was an issue over time as I may have still had flatworms when I got it.

you gonna grab that indo gold they have at theoceanproject
I honestly don’t know, they have a couple beautiful indo golds although they aren’t all ultra, I personally find the ultras to be too much gold whilst the regular info golds are just right.

Early morning yesterday I looked at the tank and saw movement… It was all around the base of my Deresa and I guess I now know where my pod population thrives. Who would’ve thought Deresa clams are a good home for pods, I would’ve thought they’d go for my maxima instead because of the scutes.
