It’s a cutie. I think I see white, new shell growth.
Yep! That you can see just past the mantle is the shell, it’s completely white.
Here’s a better photo of the shell growth, water change has just been completed so nothing is happy currently.

I used to dose Reef Roids but each time I do, something bad happens.
So, here’s what’s happened since last time I dosed it;
image.jpg

This beautiful Millepora, decided to bleach but this may have been because it got smothered by algae as well (As you can see, it trying to keep ontop of it now).
image.jpg

This Valida… My second favourite coral in the tank has started to bail as well.
image.jpg

And my first Seriatopora I got is bailing as well, now this may also be due to my Clown Goby perching on him but none of my other two Seriatopora mind it.

And my saddest update, I’m almost certain I am down to two Pseudocheilinops ataenia. I am going to try hunt down a second pair in the future to see if I can have a small group of them. However I may not because I do have a pair of Wetmorella tanakai I would love to hunt down.
And I guess here’s an FTS from this water change :)
image.jpg

I may change up the rockscape because I need to get under it as I can see what appears to be detritus build up and I may find out if my third Pinkie is alive still.

Never liked using reef roids in nano tanks it used to spike my nutrients.

How’s that rock scape coming?
Honestly, I may just leave it considering I need to get through a Cyano phase and we all know how bad i have it when it comes to cyano.

Have you tested your PO4 level? When my PO4 creeps up I get cyano in spots.

I don’t have a test currently, I’m hoping this weekend I can get a test though.

Get the hanna PO4 checker if you can. I don't know if you feel the same, but I have a hard time differentiating the subtle color differences of PO4 tests.

I can’t tell any of those tests apart
It’s very frustrating

You know I like to keep things real so… here’s how many algae/bacteria types are taking over!
P.S. I don’t clean the front glass often as nobody really sees it 24/7 unlike my 4’ tank which is seen almost all day.
