Here’s a blue photo I got of them open in the LFS last week.
Although it’s a blue light, the blue of these zoas still shines through!

Very nice! Are those Tubbs blues?

I will admit these aren’t the best photos however, here you go!
One photo is of the now opened Zoa Frag. And the other is of my now beautifully coloured up Sunset Montipora, this was a muted red originally but now it’s a stunning orange!

Also just because, here’s a few photos of one of the Pink streaks from earlier.

Water change day… and the day for top downs!! Look at those colours and all the new growth. The Pearl Berry is now basing out onto the rockwork and is the fastest growing acro currently, closely followed by my Valida.

Maybe if you want a SPS living wall you should go for Freak Hair Pavona and then theme the whole tank around the 60s. It would be ugly but unique. HAHA
Can't get a good photo of mine with the blue so here's TG's:

Unfortunately this morning I woke up to my 3 year old yasha behaving like this.

Now, I realise this is a sign of old age and I have put it down to this. I’m sure you already know where this is going, I have unfortunately lost my yasha goby of 3 years and I do plan to find another shrimp goby (yasha is top of the list but a magnificent shrimp goby is second).

I am sorry for your loss, that's quite an old Yasha goby. I see you mentioned a magnificent shrimp goby. Do you know of anyone who has or will have magnificent shrimp gobies? I have been on the hunt for them for about a year now but no luck so far. The tank is looking amazing!

Generally they just pop up around, if you have any LFSs then you can always see if they can get one in for you. These gobies really are on the rarer side of uncommon.

Well, I went to my further away LFS today and I have another Yasha on order (hopefully we’ll get one next Saturday). I’ve also brought two more SPS today, although they’re similar to one I have already (One of the new frags is just a variant of that exact species but the other is closely related to the frag I have at home).

I also talked to the owner of the LFS about the idea to cover my water outlet and now I’m going to measure the dimensions of that corner. We have a plan of thought and it’ll be all put together soon.

I bought what I thought was a blue seriatopora hystrix (even under orange tinted glasses it was a definite blue), I brought it home and look at it in the bag, it’s bright pink! I then put it in the bucket under my light… it looks identical to my other hystrix.

Here they are!! My new Seriatopora calliendrum and Seriatopora hystrix.
An FTS to show them off a bit more along with a couple close ups in terms of where they are. The calliendrum is a beautiful teal under my lighting whilst the hystrix under whiter lighting looks like a deeper coloured Limeberry but under bluer lighting it actually looks like what I brought it as!

I find this so intruiging, here’s the new Seriatopora (I’m now questioning what species I actually have). See what I mean by under normal lighting it looks pink - my lights are still on so it doesn’t appear completely pink/purple. In this photo you can see all 3 colours this coral goes throughout the day - Pink, Green and even Blue on the very tips.

An update on this, I sent him the width that a frag would need to be (6cm), and hopefully we’ll get an update on Saturday when I go back - maybe I’ll be coming home with some more coral as well as hopefully that second yasha.

Since it’s water change time, I figured I’d take this time to get a photo of all 3 Birdsnests next to eachother. I’ve moved the three temporarily as I’m thinking of putting the clam into a small crater in one of the base rocks which would need me to move a rock for the clam to get light in that rock.

The water change was finished about 30 minutes ago and everything is resettled. Here’s an TDS of the tank as well as a few top downs of my clams and SPS.
