It’s strange, the only place I can think it’s from is the salt I use but even then I don’t think that salt doses Manganese to a measurable level.
I think it’s just the ICP company you used wasn’t a very reliable one tbh. ;)

The company is supposedly a reputable one over here so it may just be due to me not having Gonis (Although I do plan to get a red glitter bomb goni in the future).

Actually, the biggest consumer of manganese is algae. A couple of grams can deplete an entire tank of it.

Iron and manganese are consumed very rapidly. Only a few grams of new macroalgae can strip an entire reef tank of manganese.

Honestly, the only ‘algae’ in my tank currently is the Dinos. Ulva was growing but I removed it manually.

Last week I did an ICP and…
Honestly I’m surprised that everything is mostly in balance.

I’d also love if anyone can understand the difference between levels in green and the levels unde the ‘measured’ or ‘relational value’.

I didn’t even know you were battling dinos! Only this tank has it?

Yup, this is my only tank in 10+ years to have fought dinos.

Here’s a pinkie update! The Male has gained some gorgeous colours as photoed :)

And another update, I was looking at my Carduus and it has these beautiful feather type creatures. They’re in the photo but incredibly hard to see so I added a second with them circled :)

And yes they move. It’s incredibly hypnotising to watch in person :)

Surprisingly they pop out quite a bit and the carduus doesn’t care.
