Oh no! It looks like RTN, not bleach. :(

I’m so sorry to see this.
That’s what I meant, RTN has hit quite a few of them unfortunately.

The starfish is also suffering so it’s not looking too good currently…

I would do a very large water change and add activated carbon. Increase the flow and skim wet.

Check your pH and Alkalinity
Alk is reading 7, pH is the same somehow.

Don’t think I’ll be sticking with Ph Plus unless it proves to not be the issue.

The last 2 days of measurements for the KH.
There’s no huge swings, even the 10 isn’t a giant swing IME. I’ve had this scenario of KH occur previously and honestly, nothing has ever been affected.

There’s a ton of sponges in the back chamber so it’s thrown in Silicates, which AFR did but not to the point I could grow sponges that quickly.

The tank when it was thriving in all its glory… just look how colourful it was.

And then… Today, it doesn’t look quite so much like that.

Only 5 fish are accounted for;
The two pinkies (who are very healthy currently), the Yellow Clown Goby, my Mandarin (who is moving but slowly) and my Citron Clown Goby.

My leopard I have a feeling has unfortunately passed (where, I don’t know). And my other gobies are, unknown if they’re dead or alive.
As for my Pintail Fairy Wrasse, he did die last night.

Did a rescape whilst trying to find any dead inverts that were left in there - also took out some of the dead skeletons. How do we feel about the rescape?
To me, it looks like a nice reef crevice where there’s the open sand with rock still surrounding it.

Sorry about everything. That really sucks.

However that rescale looks really cool. Very natural. When I return I’m thinking about making some changes with inspiration from real reefs and that looks pretty real to me. Nice work!

Hopefully, it’ll look even better with 4-5 larger colonies (I don’t think I will have 1000s of frags and instead some nice larger colonies with a couple frags this time).

That scape is amazing!
Thankyou, I don’t know which looks nicer out of this scape and my 4’ tank’s scape as both look like something you could find on reefs except this is more of the centre of the reef and that one is more on the outskirts of a reef.

I probably would have left most of the skeletons in just because I've had a few come back from nothing. Mostly Montis and Gonis but I've had one or two Acros hang on from a single polyp and start to come back.

Well, other than losing most of my corals that survived, Cyano is now coming back bigger and better. Honestly, I’d rather have Cyano over Dinos and such.
IMG_7914.jpeg

Ironically, my clams have thrived through all of this. And I used to read (and sometimes still do) that Clams are harder than SPS to keep. Yet both times I’ve had a mass die off of SPS (and in this case, some LPS too), my clams have always survived through it.

Turns out, that crash may not have been due to the pH plus and instead this, I have no idea when this spiked however it seems recent.

Is this the crab you have in your other tank?

Good old sally lightfoot, I’ve not seen mine for a while but I wonder if it’s because he’s molted.

Cool! Saw a bunch of them! Did not realize they are semi-terrestrial.
