I have two dwarf angels, but my favorite has to be the Midnight. Completely jet black. He blends in effortlessly against the back of the tank and can be quite stealthy when he wants to, hence his name - “Stealth”. Other than his fondness for acans, he’s proven to be a welcome addition to the reef - and gets along great with everything. He’s put several aggressive fish in place with his “no f*cks given” attitude. Incredibly tough as well - having survived a bout of both ich and velvet.
I'm considering a dwarf angel for my mixed reef. I've had a flame angel in the past in a new mixed reef tank and he was perfectly fine. Not sure I had an acan in that tank though.

I do have 3 acans in my current tank as I love them. So, not sure if I should or not...Considering a flame back, coral beauty, or an eibli. Or even another flame. In a Reefer xl425 with 2 clowns, tomini, six line, tail spot blenny, green chromis, royal gramma, and a mandarin.

Thoughts?

One detail Wen-Ping Su got wrong with his Tigerpyges is that the Lemonpeels he uses are the Pacific variant, while the “authentic” naturally occurring hybrid in the wild is between the Eibli and the Indian Ocean variant of the Lemonpeel which has a blue iris rather than the blue eye ring of the Pacific Lemonpeel. The hybrid to my knowledge only occurs around Cocos-Keeling and Christmas Island.

I have a coral beauty that completely ignores my corals (it's just the midnight that has this thing for acans), so I think you'd be reasonably safe with either a flame or coral beauty.

How many of you keep Lemonpeels? Are they as bad as people say?

There’s a fish farm in Thailand called Atoll Farm that mainly works with Flames and breeds Colini from time to time as well. I’m gonna try and ask them about whether they have any plans to export. They also do your typical Clowns, Dottybacks, YWGs, Molly Miller Blennies and Dragonets as far as I know. Grammas too, Azure Damsels. These are their staple offerings.

Looking for some Angel advice.

Has anyone successfully introduced a female Genicanthus Bellus to a tank with an existing G. Bellus male?

I had a bonded pair but my female recently died. I’d like to replace her

So with this female Bellus being such a bully, is it pretty much a given we can't reintroduce her to the main display and add any other fish now? She only picked on certain fish, but was relentless towards them to the point of killing 2, and making the other 3 hide constantly.

She's a gorgeous fish, and one we always wanted, but we'd rather have a peaceful tank. Still trying to sell her, but thought I'd ask here before she's gone.

Honestly, it’s a given that she will kill the ones she went for previously unfortunately.
