I would throw a fit if mine dies. My reef will be up for adoption.Well lucky me, I found someone local selling a BTA anemone that is similar to my basically dead one. Picking it up Tuesday or Wednesday. Yippee.

That’s so sad about your nem. Ever since I first saw it on your thread I’ve wanted one. It’s gorgeousWell I might be out an anemone, it keeps going deeper and deeper into the rockwork.
I am thinking of getting a new one. I'm so depressed about it.
Also I lost a blue/green damsils in my tank with no signs of it anywhere. My cats can't reach into the tank, I have glass lids for that reason. SMH it's been a rough week in my tank.
Everything else is doing good.
Your nem and sailfin look great!Sunday update, the lights seem to be better for the coral at a lowered setting than the initial setup.
I'm really impressed and greatful for the @noopsyche K7 V3 140w lights. They are a completely different light and intensity than the Fluval Marine 3.0 I had on the tank for over a year. I will be getting another @noopsyche light in the future for my 20 gallon extra coral and observation tank. It has been set up for 3 months now.
With the new addition of the Ecotech MP40 and removal of 4 Fluval powerheads, I am seeing tons of polyps popping out of my leather coral, it hasn't been doing so good for the last 6 months, barely showing any polyps.
I'm sure it's the combination of great lights and an amazing powerhead. I just need to update the MP40 with Mobius so I can use my phone for setting up the flow rate. For now I have the setting on the lagoon setting at about 60-65%.
The zoas are growing lots of new heads, the yumas are splitting and so are my other mushrooms. The Xenia seems to be holding steady, not spreading like crazy which is a good thing, lol
I am absolutely happy to have a new BTA anemone, it brings so much life to a tank. I don't think I would like reefing as much if I didn't have one .
My sailfin is finally healing from HLLE it's been close to a year with scaring down its side and face. I don't expect it all to go away, as there will be scar tissue but overall it's doing so much better. Thanks @James_OYour nem and sailfin look great!
Woke up today to a surprise, my 2 clownfish are hosting the new BTA anemone.
I have been playing a show on YouTube for about 2-5 min everytime I was looking at them, over the last 3 days swimming by themselves. Not sure if it worked, but it's what I did when I introduced the clownfish to my old anemone and they hosted it in a couple of days too. Nothing to lose and lots to gain.
I'm not sure if it works, but 2 out of 2 times seems pretty good lol. I even shut the volume down, there's lots of rustling in the video and didn't want the sound to carry through the tank. The clowns always swam away from the video, but kept peeking from behind rocks looking at the video, lolBrilliant! 18 years with my clown and not once has it ventured into a Nem, coral, NOTHING lol. Enjoy this new found symbiosis!!!
I may have to try your methodology....
You won?! That's awesome! My turn??I received a special package today, a pair of Noopsyche K7 V3 140W LED Lights.
The process of setting up the controller was pretty straight forward.
It is very important to read the instructions on time setup otherwise you could get lost.
The one thing missing is instructions for setting up the arm, but fairly easy to figure out.
The whole setup took about an hour after trying to speed through the instructions and having to re-read to completely understand the process...which was easy, lol
The difference between the Fluval Marine 3.0, Fluval 1.0 and these new Noopsyche K7 V3 is amazing. I did not know how different the lights can be. I am absolutely amazing and happy with these. Tomorrow will be day 1 and I can't wait to see how my corals react.
Thanks, I really missed my anemone. Glad to see my tank come back to LifeLove the updates. Grats on the clown + bta my clownfish pair are against housing. Although my 3rd single clown has a relationship with my aussie torch. He is also kicked out of the torch by the female clown.
Ok...I would check out Fragbox not sure the live phyto you use, but I'm on Reef Nutrition. Also not sure their ship charge. https://fragbox.ca/product/reef-nutrition-phyto-feast-live/Wow I was just trying to order some coral food and live phytoplankton from @Bulk Reef Supply . First I couldn't get the phytoplankton in my cart to give me a shipping quote, then I deleted it. Kept the coral food, 2 of them cost $24 USD. Go to shipping and it's $50 USD??? Double what I'm ordering for a grand total of $75 USD without exchange rate yet and I'm only a 5-6 hr drive north of BRS. So I opted out of purchasing.
I was really looking forward to placing an order with BRS after looking everywhere in Canada for live phytoplankton and coral food. I guess nothing can be done. Sad.
I use both places as well. I am using the phyto feast right now, but it's not live phytoplankton and I find it adds lots of phosphate like reef roids.Ok...I would check out Fragbox not sure the live phyto you use, but I'm on Reef Nutrition. Or also these guys, a newer shop for me, kinda hole in the wall place lol, but a really good selection of stuff, and 99% of their goods are online sales and shipped.

if you go over 99 bucks with the last one mentioned, shipping is free, and they are having a Black Friday sale. Lemme know what you think. I utilize both shops now...
Check out @Eldredge. Prices are reasonable and quality is great.I use both places as well. I am using the phyto feast right now, but it's not live phytoplankton and I find it adds lots of phosphate like reef roids.
I would like to get a live culture to add to my tank to help with algae.
