I'm happy to see things are recovering. I lost a lot of coral I loved back in 2014 or 15 due to heater not turning off.
Lost several heads of hammered colony recently as well.

But, new growth and recovery is always comforting.
I really enjoyed going through this build :)
Thank you for your support, it is slowly coming back. Lots of help from my wife.

I received a special package today, a pair of Noopsyche K7 V3 140W LED Lights.
The process of setting up the controller was pretty straight forward.
It is very important to read the instructions on time setup otherwise you could get lost.
The one thing missing is instructions for setting up the arm, but fairly easy to figure out.
The whole setup took about an hour after trying to speed through the instructions and having to re-read to completely understand the process...which was easy, lol

The difference between the Fluval Marine 3.0, Fluval 1.0 and these new Noopsyche K7 V3 is amazing. I did not know how different the lights can be. I am absolutely amazing and happy with these. Tomorrow will be day 1 and I can't wait to see how my corals react.

Really enjoying this thread. So sorry about the crash. :(

So, this photo from April 5, 2020 was with only one Fluval Marine 3.0 on the tank? IIRC, you had by this point removed the T8 from the tank? You had talked about getting a second Fluval, but I don't remember you saying that you had got it. I'm thinking about using a Fluval 3.0, and knowing the details here would help me decide.

Thought I'd post a nice picture of my tank this morning

Yes that photo is with 1 Fluval Marine 3.0 and an original Fluval LED.

The new pictures are with Noopsyche K7 V3 lights. I can not believe the difference between the lights and how I was so wrong. If you want some good lights, I would purchase 2 of the Noopsyche instead of the Fluval Marine. They cost less than the Fluval and are a 1000x better.

Do you think that the 2 Noopsyches lights are enough light for your tank. My tank is a 125 and I'm getting ready to order some and I can't decide how many. I'm going to go with somewhere between 3 and 6 lights.

The clown fish in its anemone is absolutely adorable.

I would speak with the people @noopsyche they know how many you would need. The 2 I have work great.

Thanks for the suggestion, but I actually already have, the US tech said 3 would be fine. I'm just worried about shading is all. My tank is basically the same size as yours just half again longer.

Looking great man! Those Noop lights look awesome.
I saw an evaluation of them on another forum that stated they're nearly identical in spectrum and light intensity to the Radion XR30 Pro Gen 4. If true that's insanely impressive for a light that is as cheap as the Noopsyches are.
