I am not happy with the color on the red robin stag . It' s more of a hot pink in color and is 3/4 + towards the top of the water line .
I picked up the Red Sea Colors A<B<C<D pack to give it try and dose @ 1.5 ml a week . I don't plan on using A since I already dose lugols.
I should get at 180 + days out of the kit if I dose at a low rate .

Going to make some changes to my lighting ... stay tuned .

Is that Pocillopora growing on the under side of the hornet plug?

Honestly not sure . I have seen a lot of corals on this rock. One did look like pocillapora . I did recognize Aiptasia .ha ha .I am pretty sure came from the local lfs . I found 4 and immediately disposed of them . Not too much to report now . Imho I have reached my stock limits . It's time to finish some projects around the house . I also have to help ECUreefer with a aquascape project for his build . Wire management is next with a few more reef toys to add . Maybe just maybe , I will start stocking fish .

I made some slight changes to my lighting. I got setback last week due to a bum reefbrite 50/50 unit . The replacement from Reefbrite came in today . That's pretty good support imho. I almost think I should have went with the XHO . I don't like the way it takes the sexy factor from the Geisemann light . I am thinking of mounting it to the rear of the light . This would give me a sexy front view again plus hide that ugly wire on the side .
I only wanted it for shimmer anyways. I can say that the colors are pretty spot on now . I also see how poor the coloration is on the frags I got from led lit tanks. Look great under a 't Radion Pro but under my t5's they look pretty sad .. I can't complain the frags are clean and healthy.
Lighting is now
Reefbrite tech 50/50
Hexarc 460
Hexarc 460
Geisemann Lagoon Blue
Hexarc True Actinic .

I don't know what you ended up doing with this little isopod but I wouldn't put it in your tank as it almost looks like a baby cymothoa exigua (aka tongue eating parasite) if that's what that is they are actually very rare! cool find!

Nah . I have seen those in book . These are isopods that roll up like pill bugs . They are considered reef safe. They are also no the dreaded vampire ones.
I have not seen them harm any corals yet . My tank is fallow atm so no worries on that matter .

Gotta figure out CA, KH dosing . Have Mrs. Wages on hand so just might use kalk. Most kalk tanks exhibit crazy polyp extension . Zeo tanks seem to have the best I have seen though .
I went ahead and removed the Tunze ATO to the 10 fusion qt . Kalk dosing and Tunze ATO pumps do not work out well together .(confirmed by 2 reefers to me ) . I have a JBJ ATO n pump coming in the next day or two . I will use that on the Fusion 40 for 24/7 kalk dosing . Never saw a big difference in the past with just dosing at night .

Drilled a few holes n re-purposed the RSCP mini salt bucket .

It's proly the best live rock I have seen in a while . It has some caveats but that's the great thing with the rock BIODIVERSITY !!!.
It's nowhere near Mandado which the only air freight rock that comes into the USA .
I will PM u as neither vendor that offers the rock is a sponsor on this forum.

Took a good nap today n went to help work on some things with ECUreefer 's build .
He was complaining about tank noise and we had to hang his lights . I went over there with some extra 1 n 1/4 pipe n a plumb bob . We didn't think we would find the studs but they were right on the money where the lights went .
Must be a good sign of things to come .. Ha Ha
Rock was scaped yesterday n the tank got plumbed and filled .
A lil preview of his build n if he doesn't soon .. I got plenty of pic's to throw him under the bus with .
I gotta give him a lil legroom as he has been in full swing at work and his first child get's to come home soon.
Not so sure if two equal height bommies will do . He insisted on using all the live rock.It kinda grinded on me a lil since (imho it wasn't a good fit in the structure )but it's his tank .
Yah, we thru away the Cadlights stuff and did a bigger drain n durso .

Not much to report atm . Did a 20 % water change .
I am cutting back on feeding the tank . Colors are getting too dark for me .
I am still moving some corals around to final spots .
I did move the SIP to almost the sandbed . Its throwing sweepers out . Don't want it to get my Nasuta or piglet acro .
The lil white dots near the bottom of the sip are sweepers . Camera did not catch them well.

Tank is looking great. :)

Agreed looks awesome.

What fish, again please?

Fantastic color improvement, so you think it was the Red Sea Color product, change of lighting, time, or all three?

Thanks ,
Fallow ATM ..

I do not believe the Red Sea color product is the reason for the improvement in colors .

I also use TM Reef Actif , Lugols, Selcon , Pohl's Xtra , Amino's n Vitamins ,MB7 n vinegar , Special Blend (burned thru that bottle )

I will started removing the bio balls . I had 40 in there but am down to 18 only.

I have also burnt through 160 gallons of salt . Red Sea color pro , Red sea blue and almost half of the Bionic salt . I do lot's of water changes but have cut back

to every two weeks 10% .

I do miss the ATI but it was too powerful and awkward to use since it was a 3 ft unit .

The Geisemann is a great looking light and the 50/50 reefbrite hopefully will serve the corals needs.

ECU reefer stopped by during lunch and brought me some Tropic Eden Meso Flakes he had left over ..hmm maybe 5 lbs . .
