Crappy pics since it's my quarantine system, but these 3 are all doing really well! The male splendid pencil and the black leopard are already eating the small NLS pellets, and the female pencil (along with the other 2) devour any frozen food I add. I think having the mollies in with them really helps train them onto prepared foods, without overly stresing them out or outcompeting them. It'll let them get nice and fat and extra confident before joining the rest of the gang.

They've pretty much adapted to lights on at 10AM at this point, and out at 10PM.

The Hawaiian endemic wrasses just get nicer each time you see a new one.
Coris venusta is my wish list but I doubt it’ll be moving off of that for a while…
(Not my photo but here’s a female)

For me the Cyano and the Geoff are a level above though I also love the Viv. Then Bi, Mari, Negro, Choat, Orn, and Mele are all really pretty but not quite there.
I am bias as to what I like on that list but like those two as well. I would like to see a cyano in person. I’m starting to like these black-toned wrasses more. A good contrast to all the oranges and reds.

It’s taken about a year but my earls is finally staying out(for the most part) when I’m near the tank. He has been incredibly camera shy and used to hide as soon as I got near the tank with it.

Here’s a short video of the Earls. He’s stopped eating frozen food since he took the jump but hunts pods all day and eats pellets.
Please excuse the full house background, my daughter loves that show. Hahaha
So this one survived the crash? Glad for you. I’d like to have one someday

Hello, Looking for thoughts on My Red Sea 425, Thinking of adding another wrasse... I have Rhomboid, McCosker's, Splendid Pintail, Blue Star Leopard, Choati, and 2 Pink Streaks... That's the wrasse collection. Mandarin. Randall Assessor, Baby blue tang.....

Thinking Of adding a Black leopard wrasse, Hooded Fairy ( C. bathypilus) Always open for other Ideas?

Thanks

Nice fish! I would suggest H. iridis, P. octotaenia P. rubeus, and of course C. johnsoni
