I actually haven't had any issues with the trio so far. They hang around eachother and when it comes to hierarchy they literally swim up, stare at eachother and then swim back down.I can't Think, When you added you're 3 pink streaked where there any issues? was there a reason for 3? I lost mine the other morning and was looking to replace it , I am thinking of possibly adding 2?
It’s usually recommended to do trios with wrasses however these guys are one of the species would do in pairs. I simply chose a trio because this is a species I love and it holds a special place in my heart along with Wetmorella tanakai.
My other reason for picking a trio is because I wanted this tank to be more like a natural reef. With the fish being how you would see them in the wild. These guys are found in small groups of 3-5 among the stony coral so I went with a trip to see how they would behave. This is a similar reason as to why I want a pair of Wetmorella tanakai (Although I am slowly falling in love with Wetmorella nigropinnata).
It’s sad to hear you lost your one however I’m sure he lived a nice life!!
