Pu when she was in the old tank. I want the new tank to get some age before I get my dream fishes. But hopefully in a few weeks I can get my cardinals that I always wanted and go from there. I am lucky that I have a decent lfs within 20 min another is about 45 and 1 more that is about an hr. Just waiting on the tank. I have moved some corals in from the office tank. Little bit at a time.

Main tank has regressed a bit still battling the gha but I am winning at least. Office tank is on point so that's a win. Testing and changing today. Ordering more sand for new build this weekend and depending on levels in main tank more cuc.
The rockscape looks fantastic. Looks natural without straight lines. Gonna work well for corals and fish.

Very exciting and cool! was binge reading your build, and should have read it though before commenting, but i loved the rockscape.
That said, i have been reefing a long time, and just want to warn you based on some catastrophic time and livestock losses to be patient when adding your corals and fish. The QT process for your new additions will protect your old fish.
Anyway, your build is great! Good job.

Thanks so much for the comment and feedback. I am hoping the frag tank gets up and running in a week or so. I was going to use that as the qt tank. I've never quarantined any fish in the past but feel that I probably should start. The coral that's going in is from my office tank aka coral qt tank.

Lights scheduled and all synced up. Couple of the corals are pretty miffed. Hoping the lights will help.

The only thing that sucks worse than quarantining, is that one time you didnt have to take all of your aquascape apart to get the last fish out so you can fallow and watch nothing happen in your tank for 76 days. Ask me how i konw LOL

Been about 2 wks now. Starting to notice a dusting of diatoms. Still super light. Good to see. Also retested and levels are back down within acceptable ranges. Po a titch high but I am blaming that on the amount of new rock vs old rock. Couple more weeks and then I will look at getting a few fish. Going to move some more corals in from the office tank this weekend and see if any of my lfs have par meters for rent. Also gonna up my lights just a bit. No losses so far.
Decided to wait on deciding what to do with the frag tank. I just don't have time for another one right now, and I have the rubbermaid still running so I have that to use. Maybe after summer I can set it up.

If you ever need it, it is there. Your frag tank. No need to over complicate things.

I am going to love seeing the new build with the fishies.

Yeah I am trying not to rush things. But it looks so empty. I am on my own this weekend as the boyfriend has things he needs to do at his place with his hobby. So there may be a trip to the lfs's to "window shop" on Saturday or Sunday. Wink
