Wow on the diving… you definitely need a safe dive buddy. With no dive trip in 25 maybe you will save enough $ to buy a fancy controller. I’m already invested in Apex but would rather have the hydros and the new Manven is being released for Thanksgiving I think.

Thanks. Things arent terrible just not great. Yeah I'm going to start researching the new system that's getting released. I have so many different things have to see if I can find something that will handle everything. Not holding my breath tho.

Sicce pumps on my UV and carbon reactor got clogged and stopped working.

Dunno how long.

I'm still rolling on ultra high nitrates I haven't fixed yet. Haven't tested in a while either. Things look good and growing so why change it?

Just looking at the slow deaths and shrugging shoulders. Meh.

TBH I think that is the best approach mentally, at least for me it is. I don't enjoy the losses but acceptance is less stressful than feaking out. Ive become pretty callus as far as coral losses. Thick skin is right under patience in personality traits that help survive this hobby with minimal stress.
Sorry to hear about your dive buddy being not too smart about her health. At least it didn't totally ruin the trip for you.

Finally found the time @00W. Thank you again. The ATS has finally been set up and is running. Lights on same schedule as the fuge light. Going to run both until I start pulling some algae off the screen. Seeded it with some funk off the sump glass. Hoping this will help with the nutrient issue. Pump runs 100% of the time at about 50% for now. Lights are on from 10pm to 5 am.
