Set up the 2nd jebao pump. Removed the sicce powerheads for now. Cleaned up last 3rd of the scape and back glass. Dosed prodibio. Next step will be some reef Flux in a week. Want to go back in Wed Thurs and Friday and get the bits of gha I missed. I need more cuc as well but weather a bit too hot to risk shipping. Maybe after the Flux treatment is done.

Plans change aka life happens.
Going to try and sell the frag. I know after all that work and it hasn't even had a chance. Well the man has found a trip he likes in April. It just so happens its a dive trip. But it's 'spensive. So it's time to tighten up and see what I can let go of. He won't let me sell the mustang or else. So for now I am going to leave ithe frag as is set up and running. And if I can't sell it by Thanksgiving then we will just leave it there. It may not be a big deal to most people but the thing is,I don't carry any debt but the house and I don't want to start now. So we will find a way to make it work.

My mom let bee people put hives on her property for the price of a few jars of honey every so often. It was the BEST

So no real updates today but ran my tests and results as follows.
Sal 34.9 Temp 76.7
Ph 8.2 Nitrate 15 Phos 1 (yeah it scares me too)
Alk 9.1 Ca 450 and Mg 1500

Fed the tank in hopes it will help from bottoming out the Phos. A mix of reef roids some Quantum bio enhance and some bene reef. The new pair of Jaebo's are really making a difference. Both the fish and coral seem, well, perkier if that's a word not related to female anatomy. Also turned the skimmer from 24hrs to 12hrs. Chaeto is growing like mad as well so may pull a bit of that this weekend.
Other than that just need to clean up some more of the tougher GHA and we are heading in a good direction.

I sell short when the climate is right for it. Given that short selling has unlimited downside vs options contracts with limited (and defined) up and downsides, I'm more in the options britches currently.

Never taken the time to wrap my head around options. Not sure I have the stomach for shorts longer than a day and I'm too busy with other stuff for that. A broad market short back I march would have been great though.

ok this conversation is really kind of funny when you have no idea what the two of you are talking about. I am just imagining midgets (aka Minions) in shorts trying to decide what to buy at the super market Oranges or banana's. Too many options.
