A thing to consider. That rock will be your primary bio filter. If you have to pull it, you'll want a lot of non calcerous media, already cycled and ready to go. Qt fish need FED. honestly I feed more in qt than in the display. They need it.

Good point. I have some extra dry rock 40lbs or so that is just left over. When the time comes and if needed I can throw some in the sump for the 180g and get it started ahead of time. Also have the 2 old Brute cans that I can use. I am really hoping I don't have to treat anything that comes in but I will be getting the basics before any fish are brought home. I am thinking fish no sooner then November. So I should have time. Unless I get impatient which NEVER happens.

I blame all the movement during live sales. You get so busy trying to F5 the live sale you skip one notification and you won't receive any more after that.

I just caught back up on your build. The basement is coming together nicely. I'm sure you mentioned it, and I probably missed it while speed reading, but what lights are you using on the QT/Frag tank?

Also, my kids wanted me to pass on their thanks for the honey again. I used it instead of sugar to make some bread when we first got it, and recently I used it again for my pizza dough when we made breakfast pizza, and it was AMAZING! Also, my very crafty friend made me a sign for my front yard that says, "We're not lazy, We're saving the bees" Which I've placed in my unkept, unmowed lawn to make myself feel better.

There's a good idea. I have the most useless front yard. 2.5 mowers wide and 15 feet long.

Welcome back!!! Basement I getting there. I just can't leave well enough alone. The lights are the old marsaqua ones. I had planned on using them on the 180g but ended up buying the reefbreeders instead.
Basically I have just moved the old 65 to the basement. Reusing 99% off all the same stuff.

OMG, it is so good in all different types of dough, plus I've convinced myself it is healthier as well, so I don't feel terrible about eating the whole loaf in one sitting by myself.

The thing about honey vs sugar. Sugar is almost instantly stored as fat the moment it hits the gut. Honey takes a lot more time for the body to process. Meaning, you can burn that sugar throughout the day. Odd huh?

90 days.

Added the jaebo to the left side and the sicce's are both on the right. Plan is to hunt down another jaebo for the left and put the 2 sicces on the back wall. I now know what has contributed to the gha I always seem to get. Low flow. Also added nozzles to the returns. One flat and one standard on the left and one flat and one random on the right. Broke the old random I had so this is what we're going with. No down to the fish lair to see what havoc I can cause down there.
