Do you know what happens when a captain retires?
They bring out fire trucks to spray down the plane. They announced on our decent into Charlotte that after 34 years the captain was retiring and this was his last flight.

I was the fire hydrant guy before my promotion so ... I would rather be the guy with the high pressure water sending him off than the guy fixing the hydrant after the gorilla operated it to get the high pressure water.... Sorry to any fire fighters in the crowd but tell me I'm wrong.

The people loading the bags were having issues. This was once they all settled down.
 
Lax international departures. I'm exhausted and the longest leg is yet to come. I just realized I am going to completely lose a Friday.... poof gone....like virgins on prom night.
