Third time better be the charm

Vacuumed out as much of the cyano as I could. Did a 20g water change and dosed chemi clean. Making more fresh sw for the 20% change in 48 hrs. Gonna vacuumed out the sump then while im at it. Wave makers and gyres on high. Skimmer is going nuts and I have an air stone in as well. Gonna keep a close eye on the fish as well. Fingers crossed this works.

Did the mandatory 20% WC after dosing the chemi clean. Got a bug up my but an decided since pop tart is gone and I lost the goby that I would just combine the 8g and the 40g cube. Pulled some extra stuff out of the 180g and put some in the cube and some up with Sunny. I didn't need 4 tanks. Gonna empty and clean out the 8g this weekend and store with the other empty tanks and extra gear. The tail spot and pistol are now with the clowns. Thinking I may get something else fun to put in with them. Did a water change in the cube and will do a water change in the mantis tank tomorrow.

Petco. They had 2. I wish I had bought the second one but I didn't. I'm probably better off for not having a fourth but I hear they're more active with 3 or 4 in the tank - not sure how it would have been with 2.

Nice! I didn't realize they paired with Pistols. That's pretty cool.

That is super. I'd heard that they sometimes paired but I never saw it. Mine didn't but there were two and I had a Black Ray Goby paired with my Randall's Pistol Shrimp so maybe just didn't have the opportunity.

I was told they pared. They may not have bc I never actually saw them together in a working relationship. I would really like a frogfish next.

I was looking for a frogfish or scorpionfish when I found my orange toadfish. Oops. Maybe one of those will be next for this tank once it's empty again.
