So, I've had hitchhikers come with corals before, we all have. However, they have always been very very small. However, yesterday I got an order from WWC and this brittle star was included with one of my corals. It is absolutely shocking that this guy wasn't noticed. It was huge easily a good two inches in length. A lot of people are obviously going to say getting a brittle is a huge plus. To me it's not. A hitchhiker is a hitchhiker, and when you pay top dollar for quality products, you would think this wouldn't happen.

It was probably curled up under the plug. I got home with a new coral yesterday and had one curled up on the bottom of the plug. I just put it in the tank with the coral.
It could be worse. This was a clam I received once from ASD

I was at a clam display at a coral farmer's market that had multiple medium-large aiptasia in the display. Thankfully not on the clams, but I was still like "do you not see the aiptaisa on the egg crate!?".

I think it's pretty neat you got a free brittle star!
