Back again with another question! So for now, keeping stock equipment until I get a bit more settled. I’m looking to add a blue led strip to my stock light so that I can put timers on so that at least I can have a blue period before and after the white as this cannot be done through the stock fluval light.
My question is......I’m in the UK and a local diy/trade store sells blue LED strips. It is ip65 rated which is states it’s water jet proof but not fully submersible. I’m thinking, seeing as it’s on the underside of the fluval lid it won’t be submersed anyway. This is only temporary until I can get an ai Prime hd in the near future. Would this led light suffice if fish safe silicon was used around the edges of the light also
