Torch growing ?

Should I remove it

That is a hammer and not a torch. If the hammer is a branching hammer and growing new heads it will look like this (which I think is what you are looking at on yours).

I removed it yesterday what was that? it was soft when you touch it it almost falls

They are fairly common sponges that just filter feed.
