Triton Refugium

I have had a lot of detritus in the refugium. Siphoning it out seems to remove a lot of live coral food, copepods, etc, plus if the plants are disturbed it creates a lot of detritus in the water column.
Some of the Europeans are putting a power head in the refugium to keep the detritus in suspension.
I'm trying out a new method to remove the excess detritus, by adding 14 star serpents to the refugium.
When I was snorkeling in the reefs, I found out by flipping over large rocks I would see many star serpents and brittle stars.
So lets see how this works out?

Yes, they had something like 100 babies. Now their everywhere, in the main display too.
