I recently bought a Tunze 6095 with the hub controller. I am coming from the Ecotech MP40 world (still have one running.

I don’t think I understand the Tunze controls/programming at all, or it isn’t working correctly.

No matter how I program it, it runs intermittently. Then just stops for several seconds.

I’ve attached pics to show what I have for constant mode which does not run constantly. What is the setting circled in red for?

Please help me understand the Tunze
world.

So the 3 second setting is a 3 second burst but it's not showing on your screen that way, which is weird. According to the settings you're showing it should be in constant power mode.

Welcome to the Tunze community. Linked a video below that may help a tiny bit. I believe the second image is after clicking on the hat icon. That one is a bit misleading in my opinion as that allows a bit of fine tuning to intensity and time.

@rvitko is your best resource if in the US. No doubt Tunze's instructions for HUB are absolutely dreadful. They need to make a video yesterday on how to use everything and set it all up

Mine won't connect to the cloud right now so I can't look at my settings. 🙄

Make sure to use the tunze-hub.de site....just in case you aren't

This is what I was also going to recommend. The standard .com is a copy of .de site but has had some issues. SSL certificate was expired last time I checked. I reached out and as you noted they directed me to the .de site.

Also worth noting that it is pretty important to get the time zone / time correct in the system tab.

I just switched to 6075s and thankfully not for the cloud functionality. I had something similar whereby saved settings didn't seem to be applying to the pump.

Try adding another time slot, configure it to a constant speed again then remove the first time slot. It should coerce it into applying the intended settings.

Just follow the instructions that Felix shows you on the video and you're good. I have four 6075's all set up on the hub and programmed. You'll need to add a few more time slots in order to program different patterns, after you have a few, then you can adjust their time(s).

Roger has been responsive and helpful with the initial controller issues (it wouldn’t update the firmware) but, his and your suggestions regarding the pump operating as the controller is set have not worked.

I have been using the .de site. I created more time control periods as suggested. I have it set to constant flow and it runs for two seconds, stops for 30 seconds, and continues to repeat.

I have watched the video provided here multiple times and the set goes fine, the options are accessible as shown, but the pump doesn’t follow.

It does the same thing in Manual Mode as well. I can see the lights changing power and pulses or steady when in constant mode.

I have disconnected the pump from the controller for as long as ten minutes with no change.

Thank you for all the information, but keep it coming. I want to love this pump badly, but I am frustrated.

So what happens if you go to the current timeslot, set it to fast pulse or something other than constant, what does it do then? What do the lights on the controller do and how does it look in the tank?

Set the current time slot to have a pump mode of fast pulse, set max slider to 100, min to 0, pulse to .50s, ramp to off. What happens then. You should have a standing wave.

It is actually doing what your suggested settings say it should! This is progress! As I said, this could all be me not understanding the Tunze world.

Good to hear it is working. I understand the frustration with the UI. I access the portal via my desktop browser, not a tablet or app or phone so you may see something differently.

Not sure if this helps but here is what mine looks like with the schedule. Few extra images for you to see how to navigate through adding time slots. Red icon that looks like a trash can is delete.

I have two 6105's, right and left side of my tank. The left 6105 is mother, right 6105 is linked and set to inverted pulse. You can see the chain icon I circled in red below. The highlighted time slot, 00:00 to 08:00 is random. Max speed 15%, min is 0 (off), max duration 30 minutes, and minimum set to 5 minutes. So whatever random does it will not run higher than 15% of the power heads power with a low setting of 0 meaning off. I copied the help (yellow icon) text below in case that helps. It should explain it better than me.

Next up is my 08:00 to 12:00 time slot. Again random but this time with 30% power, 1 percent min, duration to 15 minutes, and min duration to 5.
1754611303020.png

12:00 to 16:00 I am using a moderate pulse. Max power 50%, min 1%, puls 4 minutes, 59 seconds (max), and ramp up of 3 minutes.

I won't bore you with the rest but basically you can add time slots at will and change the pump modes. The icons I circled in red are one way to add time slots.

Can also use this icon again circled in red to go to a row level time stamp instead of the graphic one above.

And row level time slots instead of boxes above.

If I set the Constant mode to 100%, shouldn’t the pump just run continuously? If so, mine is not doing this.
