Whats up guys. So I have a turbo snail. And when I woke up today I noticed something really strange. I thought he was dead so I was gonna pull him out until I seen his antennas moving. Can anyone tell me whats going on ??

IMO your first instinct was likely on the right path. They do not usually just lay on their side half open like that. I would suggest picking him up and seeing if he closes up immediately like he should. If not I would keep a close eye on that guy, he may be on his way out.

Maybe he's has been tipped over lol. Mine get like that all the time . I just stick my hand in there and flip it over. They will die if not flipped over since they are too large and heavy to do themselves!

Turbo snails may turn themselves over in cases where it's easy too. But usually they can not. And just leave him be maybe hes taking a break lol .

did he really die i have had one do this recently but while still being slightly attached to the glass a little bit, but always ends up fine. only thing ive noticed is the shell has grown almost a half inch since the weird behavior, maybe it was kind of adjusting, although the foot in this pic seems shriveled up smaller then the trap door
