Just gathering some tidbits for Andrew. That is what he wants in his pico. Do you feed New Life Spectrum crustacean food?

I'll see about making a video about how I feed this tank. It is very simple. I only feed a tiny pinch of frozen, split pea size. This is enough for everyone to get some, and it thaws super fast. I like to mix it up in a cup and make sure it is thoroughly thawed and broken up into small pieces. Then I put the return and the power heads into feed mode and pour the food in, kind of spreading it over the tank. Everyone gets a little piece.

The zip ties on the overflow were bothering me. I didn't care for how they looked, and the roots on one of the mangroves are growing very well. So much so I was worried about them getting into the power head... with a little thought, and some EPE foam...

Bam, floating mangroves.

I know what you're thinking. They wont get into the power heads. The flow keeps them pushed up against the front of the tank. They wiggle around a little, but not much.
