Yea it will be. I went to my LFS looking for some more of the Elos cyclops food, but all they had was the brine shrimps. So I picked up two cans of that, some more Reef Interests Nannoflakes(seriously good algae flake) and some Elos spirulina.Super cool! So tiny.... But will be fun watching them grow!
The only other things in the tank are; a few dozen asterina stars, one astrea snail, one money cowrie, one sexy shrimp and two porcelain crabs. The crabs, maybe... but they usually stay up top with the rock flowers. The strawberry crab was removed to the fiancee's Reefer, and not seen since.I hadn’t thought about predation....At that size they’re probably vulnerable to more than fish.
Good idea...You have any pvc tubes too narrow for the crabs? I'd probably give them emergency shelter until they get more confident.
I haven't seen all of him in a while, just his head a claws... but he was tiny when I got him as well. That was about 6 months ago tho.How big is your pistol? Mine was so tiny when I got him.
No worms in any of my tanks. I've made sure of that.Even a moderately sized worm could potentially get them if it caught them sleeping.
I only bring that up because I think a worm may have gotten at least one of my Yasha gobies. Saw it hanging around their cave a few times. Both gobies just disappeared on me and I did see the female afraid to return to the burrow once while the worm was near the entrance. Was probably only 2 to 3 inches long but she was terrified of it.
What kind are these? I really love them. I think they are the ones I had on my list.We did a thing. Theres been a fish we've been wanting for a long time. They are rare, only pop up a few times a year and they sell out quickly. They are very small, you could call them miniature miniatures. They get about 2" total length, but the ones I got are much smaller. Much much MUCH smaller.
Ok, so you're probably saying, "Turtle, just tell us what you got already." Well, it's a Gressingeri goby, or a flaming shrimp goby. They are about 1/4" each. That's right, one quarter inch. I was expecting 3/4" to 1" fish, but... they came much smaller than that. These guys are so small I lost them in the shipping bags several times...
They both look very healthy and active, and I placed them on the sand bed next to the rocks using a small glass bowl so that they wouldn't get lost or blown around by the current.
Gressingeri gobies. So small I haven't seen them since I released them into the tank. Fit inside your pinky nail small. What kind are these? I really love them. I think they are the ones I had on my list.
If your guy gets them again, let me know.Gressingeri gobies. So small I haven't seen them since I released them into the tank. Fit inside your pinky nail small.
