I had read that this product was cheap, and fell apart easily. In spite of this I bought one today. Came apart just taking it out of the packaging. The magnets are too weak for 3/4" glass. I'm pretty sure that for every one negative review, there are twenty-five more that don't get written. Save yourself the $15.00.

LOL I don't think it was meant for 3/4" glass.

I've had one for 6 months now...works fine on 3/8" glass...no issues thus far.

Mine works great on 5/8. The clip came off the button, so I super glued it back on and it's fine. It's SO much better than the clips with suction cups. I believe Melev somehow got a stronger magnet for his 3/4 glass.

I own around a dozen and have had to superglue all of them overtime. They use a two sided sticky tape to hold the pieces together that doesn't last long. With that said they're the best option on the market still IMO. You can always just use a rubber band and piece of rock rubble although I find these easier to use.
