getting my uns r90 tomorrow.
Interested in some hardware suggestions for a high end build for mixed reef.

Thus far favoring
Hydros launch for controller with wave engine v2
Reef octopus varios 4 for return
Reef octopus sss 150 regal for skimmer
Possibly two xr15 on rms or one xr30
Gyre xf 330
Auto aqua smart doser

Planning to keep setup clean running all pumps off wave engine if possible. I have never had a hydros controller before. Previously ran digital aquatics and for past year have been running my 110 on a GHL profilux.

Thanks

I have some Hydros equipment and I really like it

Looks good.

My personal preference would be two xr15's, less shading IMO.
I was favoring two xr15s but then was debating mounting options. Have 20 foot ceiling so no ability to ceiling mount. What do you think about two single rms versus a multi light rms for only the two xr15s.

Thank you much for trust in our system! Reach out to our support if you have any questions!

Obviously some bias, but on that LAUNCH you will have 4x DRIVE Ports, I would highly suggest using one of the HYDROS Drive Port Dosers. This would allow you to have even more fine control over what, when, and how you are dosing your system.

Hola,
I just also got the R90 but hasn’t been delivered I’m also thinking of going with gyre pumps in the back wall. But wanted to ask if they would be enough length wise for them in the back?

Thanks

I’m currently running an icecap 4K on one side and a octopulse 2 opposite. More than enough flow and have them both maxed around 60% on the hydros wave engine sps flow schedule. Would go higher but my small clownfish would have to hold on for their lives.
