Hey everyone, just wanted to share my new 220g tank build. I've been back in the hobby for about a year now and currently have a 105g mixed reef tank up and running. I've been wanted to upgrade to a larger tank for a while now mainly because I'd like more room to house a greater selection of fish. I started collecting equipment for the upgrade a few months back and now have just about everything I wanted, although I still have a few pieces of equipment I'd like to pick up.
For my new build I found a new concept aquariums 220g tank that measures out at 72wide 24tall and 30wide. The guy I purchased it from had ordered it but never got around to setting it up and I stole it for $300 along with a 100g concept built sump. I built the stand myself with 2x2 1/8wall steel square tubing and had that powdercoated black. Tyler at exotic marine set me up with a 36" over flow box with 1.5 drains to send water back down to the sump.
For filtration I'm using the following:
150lbs Live rock
2 clairsea sk5000's
Octopus reef Regal 250EXT skimmer
Turbo aquatics L4 Rev 3 algae scrubber
BRS dual carbon and gfo reactors
LIFEGARD PRO-MAX UV STERILIZER - 90 WATT
Pumps:
Cor15 to feed the skimmer
Varios 6 to feed the Uv and return to right side of the tank
Jebao DCP 15000 to feed 5 way manifold, which runs to the left side return, chiller, Reactors, scrubber, and a spare port.
My returns and main drain are controlled with gate valves and all the other ports on my manifold are controlled with 3/4 true union ball valves. Each port/ item on my manifold and return system is being monitored with Apex flow sensors so each item can have its flow precisely dialed in.
Lighting is being handled with 5 radion xr15 pros
Water movement via 2 mp10' and 2 mp40's. I may add a few more once I'm up and running. I'll have to see what the flow is like and then go from there.

Precision Marine KR620 Kalk reactor
I plan to use the dos for auto water changes and use the Apex with the optical sensors to run a solenoid to control auto top ups .
Over the past few weeks I've been assembling all the plumbing in my shop and this weekend I was finally able to move the tank inside the house and reassemble it. Right now I'm at the stage where I've got to fabricate an electrical panel and move forward with mounting the electrical components and wiring.
I know I'm missing a bunch of info but it's late so I'll cut this post short. Let me know what you guys/girls think. All opinions, suggestions and ideas are welcome.
