I just saw Randy's short video about hooking the HD Prime 26 to the Apex and he mentioned you lose some features. Does that mean you cannot use the downloadable profiles from AI? I'm using one of their profiles and it seems to work well so in the interest of stability I'm not keen on changing it if I go to the trouble of hooking the Prime 26 up to the Apex.

Let me know....

Lets see if we can get @randyBRS to come into the thread. He might know :)

When controlled by the Apex you cannot use the AI profiles. You can recreate by hand in the Apex config as well as you can use shared schemes in Apex which can be yours you save or shared from others.

It is ultimately similar functionally so comes down to if you want your Apex to control it.

I prefer the Apex interface personally and as I have primes on one tank and xr15 on another in the same system it gives me a single interface between the two.

I'm using that David Saxby profile. Anyone notice anything spectacular with one of the other profiles?

I probably will continue to use their controller. It seems like it would be a pain to move it to the Apex and I'm not sure what the benefit would be.
