UV Sterilizer recommendations?

Hey guys!

I have a 50 Gallon tank with a 31 gallon capacity sump and I’m looking to pickup a UV sterilizer. I’m looking at either:

Both are 15W and rated up to 75 Gallons. Technically including the sump I’m over that but of course the sump isn’t full and displacement from everything id probably be around 60-65 gallons. The HOB is appealing because I could just plump one end to my manifold and just hang it over the rim. The inline id have to cut into my plumbing and figure it out which is kinda hard to do with a stocked system. I should’ve thought of this before plumbing everything.

What do you guys think?

They are a reputable brand.


Id go a little bigger on the rating as you pushing 80 gallons if you can. I have never used this UV however
