Just got the same tank delivered last Wed.. Got the stand built.. Wasn't to bad. Are you planning on using the optional base with the feet? Havent made my mind up yet if I will use or not.. Good Luck with your build

The stand was a pain IMO. More info on spacing the brackets as well as orientation/direction would have been extremely helpful. I also got frustrated with the doors not wanting to align on the sides. A few choice words may have been expressed. Assembly itself was easy though …

I was going to search around the threads to see if I could find any info on using the leveling base. I just put tile in and it’s fairly level. With the base it’s pretty high but looks awesome. I just worry about tank maintenance and that long reach.

Also NOT looking forward to moving this thing!

I placed mine on the stand last night and have decided to roll with it... As far as the side doors... I broke a paint stick into three pieces and used it to space the door and it worked perfectly. Yes moving will suck.. I hired a moving company to move mine. Will be here on 3/16. Glad its not my back doing the lifting..

My 200g is 7ft tall with the stand so I highly recommend getting a folding step stool from Amazon, etc. It makes all the difference when you need to get up there to place coral, feed, clean, etc.
And if you plan on water changes with gravel vacuuming sand, the Python system is amazing, makes all the difference for me.

Cycling my IM 200 INT currently
IMG_3991.jpeg
I want to wall mount my Kessil's with a similar style, I've been looking for something clean like this and also want no wires showing. Any recommendations?

Also how are you going about cycling your tank?

That sounds like a big adventure! Go Cav’s in the tourney!
I also just started a small tank in Jan. (26 g). It will be cool to see your progress into the big world. Post pics as you go.

I'm going to put mine on the stand also. Did you push yours back flush to the wall? That was my entire reason for getting the INT over the EXT - but now I'm wondering if space behind is necessary?

Yesterday was almost 80 degrees here in southwest Virginia. Now we have snow and ice accumulation. Was really hopeful to get the tank in today, but here we are ... Wanted to give some detail on what this process has looked like for us since Mother Nature had other plans.

We bought our home in October of 24. Our basement was absolutely massive, and a major selling point. Admittedly, I was having a hard time visualizing everything coming together with such a massive open space. I knew I wanted a wet bar and that became first priority. We host a ton! I also wanted a theater room, but ended up installing a 98" Sony flanked by two 65" on either side. Big college sporting fans - Go Hoos! We painted the walls a darker color to shrink the space to make it feel more cozy. These past few months was a matter of getting the RODI system setup, removing a wall for easier access to the storage/fish room area, as well as removing carpet to replace with tile. The video was prior to the carpet removal but gives a good feel for the space now. Very happy so far, now for the exclamation that brings it all together - The Big Tank!

Cheers!

You'd likely regret putting it flush against the wall. I've done it pretty close to the wall and still regretted it. I now do 5" - 6" so I have room back there for mostly wiring (from pumps and lights) and margets that hold the pumps. If you decide to put pumps on the back wall, you need room for the magnet and your hands to place those magnets. Also if you if you decide to do light brackets, you will need space as well. You can plan around all that if you want. Just keep in mind that once full, it isn't moving without breaking it down.

Behind my tank.
