Ok I'll send pics and results. The concept is you have a color chart. The darkest color is 100 if it darker than where it's darker than 100 that means the Nitrates we t over 100 and the Nitrates are than they should be. I got a pic of chart and test. You only have to find out is it darker than the peak Chart. So it is downloading all you do is fine what color is it close to over 100 to many Nitrates. So here is the chart and result just try to match.

Can you post some pics and a link to your original thread so we can figure out what you're goal is?
You don't need the thread I will tell you what my goals are. My goals 1) To find the source that's causing my Nitrates to be so high
2) I want to be able to greet new and make them feel they made a good decision.

3) Trying to make my tank as beautiful as I can so it will be the best show case saltwater tank.

4) I want to learn more about saltwater and do my best to work my way to the top and be part of the staff. That will take time, but I'm committed to do that. Be a great saltwater reefer. My goal is to make a difference to R2R. Work hard and earn a my way up. Right now I need to focus on why my Nitrates are so high. I just want to focus on that and also at the same time welcoming new members while fixing my tank. Those are goals I want to reach. I just want to be a great reefer. My goals and I will succeed on my goals.

You just asked yourself a question, seriously what is going on here?? I can't tell if your serious or messing around with these sporadic and off the wall posts you make. Nitrates are simply a matter of import and export of your current bioload.

You just asked yourself a question?
I was trying to find away show what I want because that's was the question was ask. What do I want it to look like. That's question yes, but I ask. Answered with a question. Not bring rude, but are you always going to correct my grammar? Nothing wrong with that. I know your trying and God knows I need it. No offense. But if they ask a question how I want my tank to look like, then I would have to answer with a question. I don't know anymore. I'm trying to do my best that's all.

How did I question your grammer? I said nothing of the sort. Your right, I've tried to help along with many others and again you make it difficult and obviously not taking the advice given. You constantly make everything personal which is ridiculous. You've been given great advice by many knowledgeable members. I'm done trying to help while you make it seem like everyone here is attacking you. I tried to take the high road and genuinely help you @Jaiden73.

Hey I seen a Salifert test. Yes I tried with all 3 test. I thought it maybe a false reading. So I tried Red Sea and didn't change. Then I tried API and it was worse. What test kit do you use? If you got better that would awesome.

Both redsea and salifert are great test kits. Used them for years with no issue.

Ok, going through some of your other posts on other threads I advise to stop dosing Anything in the tank that is the "miracle cure for nitrates" . Just don't do it. Do a large water change. Do not over feed your fish. Give it some time and then re test your tank.

what I circled and anything else you might come across just don't add it to your tank please.

I want help. I want to learn more about the forum. I don't attack I'm just trying to to figure everything out. So I apologise if I offended you that was never my intention. I'm trying to put post in the right and talk about topic I wrote. It has to be what was in the post and cannot change to something else. So I'm sorry. I'm a pretty good person I just get frustrated and just lose my cool. I'm want work my way up and learn more and be able to make a beautiful tank. I'm really trying to do everything by the rules. I just want to be a good member and do my best to to help others. Sorry if I offended you.

The sad thing is. I bought a used tank from a person that has 9 businesses but 1 of the 9 is a hobby.

Don't use anything. I understand people are trying to help but sometimes it's best to keep it simple. Do a large water change, one big one maybe 60-75 %. Let everything settle. Then after a week do another test. Test your nitrate since that is your concern. Post back here after and we can go from there.

I have not listened to any of the advice about vodka and the others. I have done so many water changes I could start a new salt tank. So to answer your question, no I didn't even touch Vodka or any other thing. Just water changes and testing. There is no more I can do, I have done everything. Now they say cure your Rock. We I bought dry base Rock that has be cleared of anything that might cause problems. Cure your Rock. When I say my Nitrates are over peak Level they have no idea what I'm talking about. Do the test compare to Chart and if over the darkest color your Nitrates are over the test peak Level. How come nobody knows that.

So you are saying you never used any of those products? In the screenshots that I posted it says you did use them and they didn't work. It's hard to help someone when you continue to change your stories. I've honestly tried to reach out and help you but I don't know what the truth is anymore. The last part of your post comes off a bit rude and again I'm only trying to help. I wish I could be of further assistance but apparently I can not. Good luck with your tank and future endeavours and wish you the best.

I made an error. Im not perfect, but to correct myself. No I didn't use any of the products they said works. I just changed the water waited 2 days then tested. I wanted to give my tank time to settle before I took the test. I hope I didn't make another error. Sorry being sarcastic
No offense.
