Water in a sealed impeller?

Good Morning all, quick question dump question. My guess is yes but wanted a second opinion. Cleaning a Quiet One 4K, and the impeller is a sealed but it looks like water has found a way it. I’ve inspected it and can’t find any apprentice cracks or break in the housing. Could be bad seal....

You could try the wet cell phone cure of placing the part into a bowl of dry rice for a couple of days to see if it will dry out and indeed it is leaking. I'd be worried that the increased weight could throw the balance off and or cause some sort of premature wear. But then again I worry a lot about stuff like this. :rolleyes:
