This past month, I don't even want to get up. I have no urge to do anything. I wake up, do what I got to do, come home, and do nothing anymore almost. I'm always tired, and always feel like crap...

Anyone else ever get this way?

Not to make light of your feelingss, but my wife got that way with postpartum depression (not that you would have that). Maybe a checkup with the good doc might me in order.

Been to the doctor, aside from the issues I'm aware of, which aren't supposed to cause anything else, he said I was fine...

Maybe you just need a change of pace. Do something out of your comfort zone. Get a little crazy and get out of the rut.

Sounds like you could be experiencing some symptoms of depression. A good interview and psychological testing could definitely help you to figure out whether or not it is mood related. Best of luck!

Interesting...I will check into it. I've had depression issues before

Do you suffer from allergies at all, I get like that when my allergies act up.

Have you ever been checked for Lyme Disease? I'd get checked out just to be safe.

Testing for lyme disease is tough since it doesn't always show up and some requires multiple tests before it comes up positive. A few years ago I had a bullseye rash like you get from a tick bite but found no tick so I didn't do anything about it. When I started feeling like you are describing the wife made me see a doctor about it and he said it wasn't even worth testing for it.

Yes, I have allergies bad during this time...maybe ha causes it?

Sorry to hear bud. There are some good recommendations above. Have you had any blood work drawn lately? Sometimes (not ALL) docs are quick to tell us we are fine as they need to get onto the next patient. Let's face it, the vast majority of the US population is typically tired...lol. Lyme disease is hard to diagnose but can't be done without blood work. Mono is another possibility. The main (and only symptom really) of mono is feeling VERY sluggish and tired all the time. Docs typically do blood work each year in a physical. This could go a long way at ruling things out. If that comes back fine, then you could look into the depression route.

sounds like depression to me also. I've gone through it plenty of times, shoot, I go through it every day (no joke). Have to keep filling up your life with the little good things to keep your mind active and engaged. I gone through so many hobbies and interests, I can't even count them. Many times a few good books will get me out of a rut pretty fast too. In fact, I just picked up a few horror, fantasy books to get my mind off of things. Light reading, excercise and a trip to the doctor for a vitamin b12 shot will do the trick. I was jumping around my apartment non stop after I got one of those shots. Good luck bro. Hope you feel better.

@ Craig, I haven't had blood work done for at least 12-16 months. I guess I need to go get some blood work done and see what's going on.

@ Frank, I like the reading idea alot, that will keep me busy, I do already do alot of reading, A LOT but it's not for enjoyment, it's for educational reasons(fun fun :D )

Any good book ideas?

how about trying to get out for a nice brisk walk each day to boost your endorphins for a uplifiting energy boost

I go on walks some days to take pics for fun, and I feel worse after wards, haha

hahaha fatigue can be a real pita I've dealt with it myself, I'm sure you'll push through it just keep yourself busy if at all possible, laying around only makes it worse

I'm heavy into reading fiction, fantasy and horror books. Anything to get my mind off the every day problems for a little while. It's a great and relaxing way to escape for a few minutes a day and won't kill your budget. I often re-read a good book about 3 or 4 times, lol. But again, I'm a very fast reader and do it while traveling to and from work. Back when I was in school I was heavy into poetry, history, biographies and autobiographies. Wonderful reading but now I just want to read for fun :) I'd say a few of my definite favorites have been stephen king, dean koontz, anne rice, tolkien. You name it, I've read it. If I could recommend a couple to start out with, they would be the shining, IT and the stand, by s. king.

I've read some of Stevens work... I liked it quite a bit...ill check the others out though...

Austin! Don't worry bro you will get through this there is a bright day ahead :) Many bright days ahead! If you are depressed my belief is that you need to change your situation. Waking up and doing the same routine, talking to the same people and eating the same food gets boring. You've got to change your life! While this prospect of change initially is very intimidating for many people, it will become an exciting adventure. The adventure that is life and happiness. Come out and visit me here if you need something to do. Play with the clowns and lend a hand for a few days. Or visit another friend, or just make some new friends. Brainstorm ideas about how to surround yourself with some different people. I think the exercise comment is dead on. Hard exercise will release mood altering hormones and will lift your spirits. Just keep pushing through that burn and the tired feeling after. It will give you the energy you desire. Also, there is a lot of truth to vitamins and food having an effect on your health. B12 is the best for making you happy. I just went to the store today and got some of those heart health vit C packets you add to some water. Starting to eat a better diet will also do wonders. I believe a little vitamins/food, workout, and do something different and it will pass. Just don't expect it will happen overnight but keep pushing your life in the right direction. Happiness and energy are right around the corner!

btw, your photos have been looking siiiick!!! :)

Thanks Kris! I really need to find something new to do I see! I think I could exsersie alot. I have a pass to the Private Gym here at the house. It's free for me to use 24/7. Maybe I should try that.

I think I eat a well balanced meal, I generally will eat a meal that consist of a meat(medium rare most often), vegetable, and 1-2 side dishes aswell, I always have a small salad to eat aswell. Is my diet wrong?

And thanks! Those pictures I posted I felt were pretty bad...the Iso and focus looked awful IMO...
