What 250w HQI Bulb?

running Helios now, time to switch out. Help me decide what new 250w DE to get!

I've been using/testing a lot of different 250 hqi bulbs over the year and Phoenix 14k have the highest par and give a nice bluer look. They also hold their brightness longer than the others I tried.

What ballast are you running with your 250 14k Phoenix bulb with? I'm using IceCap and after the burn-in period, it's now a crisp white and has lost it's blue tint.

My favorites is 1st the hami 14k 2nd Pheonix 14k.

how long is that burn in period for you?

I have them running off aquamedic & coralvue ballasts.
