I think this will be a cool tread! (Fingers crossed)

I don’t care how hard you are working on your tank... there are a lot of...come on now... : ) a lot of boring days : ) You just don’t get to do much on a daily basis... lol... monthly basis... that really makes a difference. Occasionally... you do get to do something really cool! : )

The pics below are what I got to do today! : ) My lighting just became awesome!!! I have plans to make it better still (see my build thread : ) These lights are 9” above the water. I just added an “AquaticLife 61" T5HO X18 Hybrid NON-Dimmable Fixture” today. : ) The LEDs in the center are; 2 Hydra 32 HDs and 1 Hydra 26 (Very center)

Show it off!!! What did you do today? Let me learn from you!!!!!!,

Vetteguy how did you hang your orpheks? I have one full sized V4. I can’t drill my ceiling. Are two brackets strong enough to hang on glass?

I use canopys and use bars on them to support lights
You can make one out of 1” pvc and elbows like a clothes rack and hang it on the rack which is also waterproof

I also change out the light on my tank. I went with the AquaticLife HM Electronics CoreXC Wireless Marine/Reef LED. Seems like a really nice quality light. I’ll keep posting the progress with it on my build.

Beautiful aquarium! Nice work! I recently added the aquatic life non dimmable 48" hybrid fixture over my RSR 350. Running two hydra 26's as well. Today I did a water change, changed my filter sock, scrubbed the glass, cleaned my Skimz Montzer 167 skimmer cup and tested for phosphates and nitrates. Up until a few weeks ago my phosphates were 0.0 using the Hanna ULR checker. I started dosing reef roids 3x/week, slight increase in algae on the glass, but today phosphates were .05, nitrates were about 10 (API), Alk 9.0, Calc 480.

I GOT UP EARLY!!! Though these tasks have gotten easier with freshly mixed salt water pumped from storage directly into the sump.

Have a great day.
