I overfeed and had a slight bloom. Decided to leave the UVS in for a few more days. The water is now clear as Gin. Thinking about using the UVS one day out of a week. What would that do to the tanks ecosystem/microbiome? Left click the second image to see water clarity. Thanks all.

Many reef tanks have UV on 24/7 with no issues. It won’t harm the bacteria and microbiome that live on the substrate and rocks.

UV can raise the temperature of the water, so be mindful of that. Otherwise, there should be no issues regarding the microbiome.
