I like feeding this stuff. All my fish and shrimp like it and seems like it has a good variety, plus I can get it locally which is always nice.

So the biggest question is do I rinse the frozen foods?
Same with mine, he now eats pellets and frozen. Don't think he's ever gonna eat flakes.. I'm still very proud of the little manI don’t really kno bought from lfs, eats pods mysis and pellets ( didn’t eat pellets at first but learned)
I don't know, but the maxima clams have no problem sucking in the exuded liquids from their cousins. ;YuckBut what if you have a Maxima or two. Will the fish think it’s food?
The clams I feed come inside clam shells so no Polyphosphates in there. Many of us for some reason feel our fish food has to come in a package with a really healthy picture of a fish on the cover. If any of your fish-food comes from meat processing plants (yes! Even from fresh seafood deli counters), they heavily use polyphosphates in the handling, distribution and storage of meaty foods....no way around it
Which pellets do you use?As the pioneer of coral poops, I believe I’m qualified to add to the subject.
I’ve tested more foods on coral than my fish receive. By far, the best thing you can feed your corals are pellets if they’ll accept it.
I spent a lot of time watching corals after feeding. When you feed roti blends, like reef roids, the corals have a hard time consuming anything more than 50% of what you feed. The particles are too fine, they aren’t able to grab onto it, and it’s easy for it to get blown away causing a mess in the tank.
With pellets, the corals are easily able to hold onto it and position it into their mouths, it doesn’t get blown away, and they end up consuming 80%+ of it causing less mess in the tank.
After switching to pellets, even for smaller corals like leptastrea, chalices, and blastos, I noticed a massive increase in growth and a lot less mess in the tank.
coral frenzy .5-1mm pellets, I swear by them.Which pellets do you use?
No, most of my euphillias do not like to eat. Thanks - I'm going to try the .5mm pellets for my Blasto garden.
Have you had any luck feeding Euphyllia with these pellets?
I'll take that as a NO then and yet some many people feed just dry foods or just them as the main staple diet. The question then is why when there are so many fresh and frozen foods available?Anybody here think they can improve on the foods that nature provides?
