Hello I recently sent up a nano 20 gallon and I want to purchase a hydros controller. Now I've had apex for almost ten 10 years still running on my other tanks. So im not sure what would be the best bang for my buck with hydros.

I want to control temperature and have an ATO either through a dosing pump or ATO integration. PH probe would be an added bonus but not a deal breaker. Let me know what you think thanks!

The temp sensor goes on a sense port. You will need a pH/ORP port for the pH probe. using Hydros for ATO you can use a dosing pump for the pump. Hydros has a simple doser that runs on a drive port also the pump in the Hydros ATO kit also uses a drive port but comes with the water level sensor. If you use a dosing pump you will need a water level sensor. The water level sensors also use a sense port. If you also want some controllable AC outputs then a Launch might be a good starting point for you. If you do run out of a port or need a port that is not on the controllers you have all you need to do is get another controller with the port or ports needed and a command bus cable and at least one terminator but might as well get 2 since that is all you will need per collective. I have a collective with 15 controllers now but I have a lot automated. My ATO and AWC pumps are in my garage with the RODI unit and mixing station which is all automated using Hydros controllers. I also control my heaters with the Hydros controllers. The heaters do have their own thermostats that are set a few degrees higher than the Hydros turn off setting as a backup off. Hope this helps.

Awesome thank you for that! I really appreciate it! One more unrelated question if you dont mind. How do I tag my tank build as a badge and I would like to add 2 more tanks. Thanks again

I think the tank build is under your account and then profiles and then about. I think that is where it is now where you enter the link.

I think the Launch covers about 75% of what normal people need/want a controller to do. You can monitor pH, temp and water level, run small pumps (ATO/AWC) or simple dosers, plus power on/off return pumps, wavemakers and heaters... All with just the Launch.

If you find you need/want more later, you just add on whatever it is you need.
