Looks like a pill bug to me, commonly found outside under rocks and the such. Dark cool and damp places. Is your sump in the basement? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Armadillidiidae

yea kinda thought but, ive seen some odd ones(too much PBS)

Yea. It's possible he is sometype of beach dwelling one as well they live both in and out of water. Anyway it doesn't belong in a tank. Don't trust large isopods.

A pill bugs antenna point forward and rear end is round. This bugs antenna point back and the rear end is spear like. Hopefully it's nothing to worry about...

We used to call these ones "sow bugs". Still a terrestrial isopod; a garden detritivore. Related to the pill bugs, but doesn't roll up the way they do.
