Oh thanks. I thought that sponge is the coral type one. Does it mean anything?

I have a ton of that sponge off and on. It harms nothing :)

No, vast majority are benign. I would not be concerned. IMO sponges are cool.

Just looking for a coral that's easy to keep that will do fine under 2 39w t5s. I have a sinularia leather and a Kenya tree. I like something that has some movement but all suggestions are fine.

Also something that I could buy smaller that grows pretty quick would be nice too.

Star polyps and mushrooms are great beginner corals. Star polyps grow very fast.

Oh whoops I forgot I have a mushroom haa it's just small. Are green star polyps the only colour. What about a hammer coral or a toarch. Are they fairly easy. Also I heard Xenia are easy.

Xenia and Yellow Star Polyps both come to mind. Remember anything that grows quick also means that coral has the potential t0 become invasive and take over the tank. You could try a Duncan which is a stony coral.

Hammer and torch will require more light. Star polyps vary in color from yellow to dark green, and all the colors in between (yellow green shades)

Xenia are pretty easy, as too are anthelia.

Also a maroon with white center star polyps.
