When I get back home from vaycay, I'm going to be hitting people up for pictures of their critters for the guide. There seems to have been a lot of cool ones in the last month, like this one.

Sounds good man. I'll take some better pictures later and keep a close eye on this thing.

To be honest I picked up the rock from a guy running a FOWLR tank for 8 months... he would water change with tap water and conditioner and I was new to this hobby when I got it so I threw all his old rock in my new tank. I know, noob mistake. Lol
It happens. Kinda neat imo. Id bet he didn't have much for clean up crew. Seems pretty rare to see these.

I don't consider it a noob mistake. That's how you get cool diversity in your tank. Sometimes you get a few undesirables, but often you get coolness too. With corals being introduced to our tanks from all over the world, we see critters growing on rocks that we've never seen before. If you pulled rock straight out of the ocean, you expect only critters from that area. With rock from someone else's tank, you can expect anything... and I think that's the cool part.
