I have seen some nice threads recently about favorite millis or tables, and top smoothies, so what are your favorite tenuis in your tank? Not based on vendor pics but in your system? I think we have all gotten a tenuis home and been underwhelmed, so which ones are those that made you say wow after it was acclimated to your home system? There are so many out there but i haven't found much that beats a Walt Disney, Homewrecker, or Jolt that are still some of my personal favorites, but i would love to see some that i'm going to need to add. Hopefully this can be a fun Friday discussion, pics please! I have some other nice ones that i'm holding out judgment till i can get them grown out some.

I love the teal color you can get from it. Its another one that is hard to come by anymore. I got a frag from AV99 at lear this year.

There's no doubt for me. It's actually one that we imported several years ago. It is our Epic Aquauculture Tropical Sunshine Hyper Intense Tenuis:

SC Orange Passion is #1 for me. Unfortunately most are fakes and have yellow polyps. This would get the most comments from visitors..........even in a side pic you can see the pure orange in the polyps. It doesn't need heavy blue leds to make it look good. It also stands out from a distance as the tip and base colors are very bright.

Standard Green and blue- very intense coloration and many will have the white branch skin making it a nice tri color. White to clear polyps that don't ruin and cover the colors. Again, doesn't need fake blue light.

My last favorite is the full white skin with blue growth tips. It's just as beautiful as the Aussie Ice Fire Echinata.

I'm going with my most resent purchase called HGR Mango Mansion. Only looks this good under blues, in daylight it's a blue green body with brown polyps.

This explains a lot. Never have been able to get the orange out of my "SCOP" polyps have always been yellow. Still beautiful though.

Got my WD from the same guy on here. Makes me wonder if that's a fake too, as I have never seen anything resembling the WD colors

I always attributed your orange polyps to your T5 lighting. It was my impression that fluorescent yellow/orange pigments tended to look, and possibly transition to, a more orange color from T5s.

Where did your source your SCOP from? Maybe we need to do a trade and conduct an experiment :)

The polyps on mine certainly favor orange over yellow. Mine is RR variation.

I had two colonies I lost back in 2020 so I'm in search of a new frag. I bought a frag 1.25 years ago.........it has potential but stopped growing. I bought another recently that has yellow polyps. ...........so for now the the jury is still out if spectrum has anything to do with it.

I think I got my original frag from Dan.
