Yea - and show that fish in normal light - its a shining yellow wrasse - in that picture you have a weak light from the room into the aquarium - otherwise no reflecting yellow - there is no 465-490 nm in the blue LED light.

And you know this

I don’t know what we are arguing about anymore. My misuse of reflection vs florescence ? It is aside from the point of everything. The torches are the color they are and no torch will morph into them despite conditions. The cost is due to the rarity of difficulty in sourcing. The name is given to simplify trade identification. I can tell you in 10 years of following torches, bananas and holy grail have barely come down in price. Market should be saturated by now, but it isn’t. At the same time, cheaper torches are in abundance as they always were

as a non native english speaker, the names really doesnt matter, but the holy grail torch is one i couldnt pull the trigger the first time seeing it instore bcuz of the price tag, but its so shiny that i kept thinking about it everyday and revisits the store every week to see it until finally brought it home and i can now sleep happily. Hopefully i can keep it long
Spoken like a true coral addict 😭 @VintageReefer cannot sleep unless his torches shines more brightly than the sun!

This is the fun part of the hobby though. If we didn’t have nice coral to collect we might as well switch to freshwater and focus on aquascaping!
