A broken one is dead silent.... But seriously.. What kinda size we looking at here..
I’m looking for something good for a 50 gallon about 40” long x 18 wide x 18 tall I’m aiming for a DC pump with a turn over in a range of 1000-2500 gph between 2 pumps

plus one on the tunze, I have reef octo pumps echo tech and tunze. guess which one makes the most noise. the most expensive one

Got the dry and wet side lined up perfect? Sometimes I had a problem with that and also the internals cleaned out.. Can hear them vibrating a mile away..

I adjusted them while running to find the sweet spot but even at that it’s noisy coming from the dry side are your dmps quiet?

I use a tunze 6025 wavemaker on my seahorse tank (70g cube) and that tank is really silent. Espcially compared to my 150g with 2 maxspect gyre which i should add are pretty silent too but it took 6 months before the mechanical noise to be reduced.

Tunze is one of the best around.
Customer service is awesome.
Rodger is almost always available here on R2R.

Well,, fairly frequently anyway,

I have tunze Orca, multiple vortechs. MP40s and 10s, Jebao MP knock offs and neros and TBH I don't hear any of them unless I get next to them and try to listen. But I'm old and hate silence. I have to sleep with a noise maker so my noise sensitivity is probably different than others.

You were looking for a pair for a 40" long tank.
I have a pair of 6055's in my 32" x 24" x 20" lps tank and have them on about 50%.
They are controllable.
