I have two Tunze 6075 on my current tank. They are very efficient and quiet. They did a nice job with their new controller too. It syncs well with my internet.

I have a nero 5 on my 60 cube, I run it at about 60% max and it's extremely silent. Between that and my varios 6 return pump I have to visually check occasionally to make sure they are still running.

Tbh, your best bet for sound is to get a slightly oversized pump and tune it down so it's not running at full power.

Ive had gyres and regular. Right now I have a nero 5 and a maxspect gyre. Nero 5, cant hear it all. Gyre, above 60 percent maybe a small whine, but I don't have acros, so my wavemakers are only from 10% to 40%. I dont need higher. Lol

Hey there. I'm always looking to learn if I can? I use a Reef Breeders wavemaker on my 32 gallon Bio cube. I have found it just about silent, no problems and when I call for advise I usually get the own Logan. He is extremely helpful and a pleasure to talk too. I am pretty sure they make different sizes and types. you can look it up on line or call directly at (401)515-2199. Hope this helps?

I just upgraded several tanks to ReefBreeders Reef Powers. They are pretty quiet and deliver some good flow.

I have no complaints with my sicce SDC 7.0. Too big for your needs, but even the smaller ones bring multiple factors that make their premium price a lot lower.

1.) 5 yr warranty
2.) Pump/ H2O wifi temperature updates
3.) Pump issue updates by wifi
4.) Software driven multiple flow pattern modes
5.) Ability to autosync with other Sicce pumps to coordinate durring feeding times, and night schedules.
6.) Ridiculously easy design to take apart and clean all parts.

I just got two of the Aqua Illumination Orbit 4 Cross Flow Pumps and they are SUPER quiet. I really love them, however I upgraded from the Neptune WAV, so not the quietest to start with so maybe I have a bad comparison.
