What pump for a return?

With the ice storm we had this weekend, I ended up burning out my main return pump. It was an internal pump, and I am wanting to go with an external pump that will run my display, frag tank, and media reactors. I'm looking for something in the 2500 to 3500 GPH range. I was considering doing either a sequence dart or a mag drive 24 or 36. I'm also looking for suggestions on where is the cheapest place to get it.

Go for the Dart it is much much better than the mag pump. Quieter, less electricity less heat in the water.

Cheapest place to get it, hard to say.

It is not cheap anyplace.

But I do need to add, why do you really want 2000+ gph going through your sump. Just to keep the sump calm and quite I would slow that down a lot.
