Why did my phosphates just hit the roof where my macro is beginning to grow?

How high is it and what are you testing with? What macro are you using?

Caulerpa, hanna and over .2 ppm. Three days ago it read .09. I did feed a little reef roids at the time but just a pinch as always.

Just have a few different types of caulerpa and probably need more of it to grow but holy crap. I just put in some phosguard.

Id retest, a simple smudge on the curvette on a hanna checker can result in a "false high"

Is this with a HI774 ? if so what lot #? wouldn't happen to be Lot#H015 of reagent would it???
