Iodine Number 1200mg/g
moisture 2%
Ball pan hardness 92%
ph 10

Came across this industrial grade carbon and its having specifications somewhat close to that of BRS ROX 0.8, would like to know if it is safe to use this in my tank?
Also please throw some light on the question asked in topic heading.

Detailed description of the carbon in the attachment.
P.S: can colour adsorbent grade carbon remove organics as well?

"color" in color absorbing carbon means organics.

The pH doesn't matter.

I do not know how well it will work in a reef application, but I cannot see a reason to not use it.

Following, never heard of this ....
never know pH of the carbon to matter but you never know...
is this stuff cheaper, better or both ?
Definitely cheaper, minimum order quantity is 15 kg for $75. Can't say about being better, will definitely order now, shared the product data sheet you can compare it with BRS ROX 0.8 specs.
