I got this tilefish a little over a week ago and he seemed fine until today. he has these weird black things on him that look like scabs and now they are pulling away from his skin. His tail and fin looks a little torn/messed up too. I tried looking for fish diseases that look like this, but couldn't find anything. Anyone know what this is? And how to treat it? Is it going to harm my other fish?

Ok, in the time it took me to take the pictures, upload them, and post this, the black things have fallen off of him. What the heck were they?! They showed up just this morning and are already gone. What parasite goes through such a short cycle? I really hope my other fish will be okay.

Maybe flukes or isopods. Kinda tough to tell from those pics.

Unfortunately those were the best pictures I could get and now they black things are gone. There's white stuff left that almost look like broken blisters. Anyone have a clue as to what those were?
